Highly rated Victoria supremo Andrew McDonald is the front runner to take on the role of assistant coach with the Australia men's team, according to newspaper reports today.
McDonald, who oversaw an historic triple crown last summer as coach of Victoria in the Sheffield Shield and 50-over competitions as well as the KFC Big Bash League title with Melbourne Renegades, was recently touted for the England men's team job following Trevor Bayliss's departure.
